Le Bac Blanc

So yesterday was the Bac Blanc, which, for everyone who's not familiar with the education system on France, is like a mandatory SAT at the end of high school. Yesterday I took two hour tests on the subjucts of History, French, and Physics/Chemistry. And it was ridiculously hard. I managed to get a page and a half written in analysis of the historical document (without the use of my dictionary!) and the teachers were really impressed when I handed it in. As for the French and Physics, however, I'm pretty sure I did really poorly. I didn't even finish the Physics test. My brain quit when I had ten minutes left to go, and was only halfway through. I'm really curious to see whether I did worse on French or Physics.

I am however making progress in my schoolwork. I got a score of 10 on my latest essay for French class, which was actually the same score of several of my classmates.

Today I'm skipping school because I've got a train in a few hours, and I'm heading of to Nerac for the weekend for a get-together with all the other Rotary kids. Hooray!

Dude, Vicki, your life is so exciting, I hate you. I wish I signed up to be in a coolaroonie program like that..... Although, I prolly wouldn't go to a place that speaks anything other than mainly english... So Frenchland would be outta the question. Maybe sorta kinda not-really I could go to Spainland, but I doubt it because I suck at spanish, and barely, BARELY passed my Spaniolio classes. Plus, the only spanish I due know, is the kind from south of the border.
.... Could I possibley go to Canadia as an exchange student? Although that doesn't sound very exciting.... Kinda like going to Alaska.
BUY ME PRESENTS!!!!! Oh, poo, your not gonna see this until you come back a ba-jillion days later...

Wait, I got like a serious question for you.... Remember the German girl Freshman year? She was in band and in Choir. You might not know her, but like you she already graduated and then became an exchange student and was a senior again in her exchange program? How now brown cow? Why? Can't you just go to college their? Or, does it only apply to highschool students? Just thinking about France.... It just seems strange to me.... I wonder what it would be like to be a person living in france.... Just growing up in france.... It seems unreal, or exotic..... Especially since all the other countries in the world, for the most part, come from really old civilizations, unlike America. So, they have social customs and ways that are jillions of years old. WEIRD!!!!
That, and like all Americans, I grew up thinking that the universe revolved around the U.S.... Is that like in france????
